• An order can be delayed for several reasons
  • The Inmate’s name and/or booking number were not provided or was incorrect. Please be sure to include your name and phone number on EVERY order placed, so we can contact you if we have questions or issues with your order.

• The order was placed after 5pm PST.
  • The inmate will receive the funds the following day.

• The Sheriff Department’s computer system was down or temporarily unavailable for processing orders. 
  • The inmate will receive the funds the following day.

• To request a refund, please contact Jail Cash at info@jailcash.org or complete the contact form on this webpage.
• Jail Cash will immediately process a ‘Refund Request’ on the same day the order was placed, prior to 5pm PST, and before the deposit is transferred into the inmate’s commissary account. Otherwise, a refund cannot be issued.
• A transaction fee will apply and be deducted from the amount of the refund.

• Yes, you can receive a refund, minus the transaction fee. The request must be submitted before 5pm PST the day the order was placed, and the funds have not been deposited into the Inmate’s commissary account.
• If the deposit has been made, Jail Cash cannot issue a refund. The deposited funds will be given to the inmate upon release.
